My story

Why I do this work

I became a psychologist because I kept meeting people carrying enormous things quietly — grief, worry, exhaustion, old wounds — while telling everyone they were fine. I wanted to be the person they didn't have to perform for.

My path took me from a BSc in Psychology at Foundation University Islamabad to an MSc in Cognitive and Clinical Neuroscience at Brunel University London, where I learned to look at emotional life through both a human and a scientific lens: what heartbreak feels like, and also what it does in the brain. That dual perspective shapes everything about how I practise.

Today I see clients online from Pakistan and around the world — students, professionals, parents, young people — working through trauma, anxiety, low mood, burnout, and the big transitions life throws at us. Sessions are warm, unhurried, and tailored to you.

My approach

What working with me is like

Evidence-based

I use approaches supported by research, adapted to you — not a one-size-fits-all script. My neuroscience background means I can also explain the "why" behind what you're feeling, which many clients find deeply relieving.

Culturally attuned

Family expectations, faith, community, log kya kahenge — these realities shape our inner lives. I work with your context, not against it, whether you're in Lahore or London.

Warm and unhurried

You set the pace. My job is to create a space steady enough that you can finally put down what you've been carrying — and honest enough that real change becomes possible.
